Fixed some minor node stuff for the unit test to run. #4

I ran into a few issues so I thought I submit a PR to have my fix reviewed. I haven't got a chance to look into passing all the tests, but one of the test failed because of the message body error changed. Still have 2 unit test not passing for me, but I hope these changes can help a little for the next release. Thanks for creating this awesome project. Cheers, Jenny
