The day will push away the night with the clouds.

"we can do the pre-render 30 minutes before transistion in 10 second slices so if there are going to be any special ponies in the scene at that time (from a special trigger) they can still be rendered."

For now a basic transition has been added by fading from Twilight to night and visa versa. However this transition needs to be touched up too.
