Background/foreground of input elements incorrectly toggled #10

I've been using Colour Toggle for some years with great satisfaction. This
summer, I was forced to update from 3.5 to 22.0. Colour Toggle automatically
followed suit, but I now have a problem with website fields. I run a black
background, because the thin text on a blinding white background disappears for
me. With the new update, all type-in fields and drop-down boxes have turned to
the same black. I have to toggle frequentely between the prefered settings and
original site colours just to see what I'm typing. How do I fix this?

I have verified this user-reported issue. For instance, the search box on the
Google.com homepage displays this behavior. The background color of the search
box is toggled, but the foreground color is not.

(Contrast this with normal input boxes, where neither the background color nor
the foreground color is toggled.)

This is due to the fact that some input widgets are drawn by the OS (with
system styles and colors) and some are drawn by the browser.

I know of no fix at this time.

Marking this a dup of issue 7, as I believe these are fundamentally the same
