Same issue here. Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS Gnome 42.4 using X11

(Putting this here in case it helps, but to be fair, I'm not sure I really need the extension. It's quicker to just type the first letters of the app name then enter, you don't have to wait for some arbitrary tags to appear.)

Same error here with Gnome 44.2. It also breaks the Gnome searchbar.

I'm not yet on Gnome 44.2, so there might be problems, you have more chance to make it work by using the git version. There are issue when deploying to the GNOME store :/.
