No response

revepastrop commented 2 years ago

same here, & probably for everyone. authentification script needs to be updated. similar tidal scripts encountered that issue too in the not so distant past

CanadianBaconBoi commented 2 years ago

Also experiencing this issue with applications using the same client id such as Tidal-Media-Downloader, assuming the api client was removed 😭

kjboa commented 2 years ago

Same issue herw

nayab9 commented 2 years ago

Found client info which seems to work, from this thread: https://github.com/yaronzz/Tidal-Media-Downloader/issues/797

Created a pull request. https://github.com/nathom/streamrip/pull/280

TofuOrganic commented 2 years ago

Created a pull request. #279

Did I miss a fix somewhere? :<

CanadianBaconBoi commented 2 years ago

Sorry, I changed the pull request link as that one was not ideal.

280 is the new one.

My fork at CanadianBaconBoi/streamrip should work.

gidisegal commented 2 years ago

If you can't figure out how the fix is done like me at the beginning you go into the streamrip folder that sits within the python folders on mac its: /opt/homebrew/lib/python3.9/site-packages/streamrip/

Then you open constants.py

Find the line that says TIDAL_CLIENTS_INFO and replace it with this TIDAL_CLIENT_INFO = { "id": "8SEZWa4J1NVC5U5Y", "secret": "owUYDkxddz+9FpvGX24DlxECNtFEMBxipU0lBfrbq60=", }

gidisegal commented 2 years ago

or just manually replace the id with 8SEZWa4J1NVC5U5Y and the secret with owUYDkxddz+9FpvGX24DlxECNtFEMBxipU0lBfrbq60=
