[BUG] JSONDecodeError: Expecting value: line 1 column 1 (char 0) #344

Closed drtasss closed 2 years ago

Describe the bug

So yesterday the program worked with no problems, but strangely enough it for some reason started giving me errors when I tried to download 1 song from Deezer, so I tried reinstalling it, didn't work, then I completely reinstalled Python and PIP, still no luck. I have yet to find out what suddenly caused it, I did have my Deezer ARL configured in the config, and have tried resetting the config with 'rip config --reset'.

Command Used

rip url --max-quality 2 https://deezer.page.link/DBDSk4PBxTCdhWXf7

Additional context

I did notice that in the config file it says "version: 1.9.2" for some reason, it even does that after reinstalling it.

Check if your ARL is working; I solved it by just changing the ARL :/

I am confident that the ARL is not the problem here. I've tried changing the ARL several times and it's not that.

drtasss commented 2 years ago

I fixed it by deleting all of my packages and then reinstalling streamrip

I used the following commands:

  1. pip freeze > requirements.txt
  2. pip uninstall -r requirements.txt -y
  3. pip3 install streamrip --upgrade

I hope this helped someone :)
