it seems that files are missing ~150kb from the end
beta version works fine pip3 install git+https://github.com/nathom/streamrip.git@dev
Heads up for anyone else reading this:
I installed using the dev branch and it still wasn't working, same errors as before. Turns out this was (I think) due to having repgrip
installed as well, which also uses rip
as its command.
Added alias streamrip='~/.pyenv/versions/3.12.2/bin/rip'
to my ~/.zshrc and it works perfectly now. Tested a sample file with flac -t ~/path/to/file.flac
and received a successful result of "ok". Note that my streamrip path may be different than yours since I've installed python with pyenv.
So basically just make sure rip
doesn't conflict with anything and the dev branch will work.
Edit: It's important to note that my path above in my alias is because I use pyenv for python installations. Use wherever you installed rip
to as your path.
I tried the dev version, didn't fix the issue unfortunately
2.0.3 is fine
Describe the bug
I should not that I'm using the dev branch as it is a known issue that the latest stable is downloading from Deezer with a missing byte as noted here: https://github.com/nathom/streamrip/issues/607
Use the command below, then test the file with flac -t and here's the output:
Not sure what is causing this, tried to uninstall and reinstall the dev branch of streamrip or a different commit yet still getting this error, though everything is fine with Qobuz files. Even tried to test the files on a different machine yet same error.
