[iOS 13] Emulator cannot restart app on second run with VSCode #267

Environment Provide version numbers for the following components (information can be retrieved by running tns info in your project folder or by inspecting the package.json of the project):

Describe the bug Emulator cannot restart app on second run with VSCode.

To Reproduce

  1. Create new Hello World app.
  2. Run in VSCode debug with stop on entry.
  3. Let it run after first stop on entry.
  4. Stop the debug session and start it again. On the restart application step the simulator goes to black

Expected behavior Should restart application and start debugging.

I just updated iOS and am now having this issue. iPadOS 13.1.2

Stuck at restarting on application.

Just an update:

  1. Doesn't happen with chrome debugging.
  2. Doesn't happen on simulator with iOS 12.2.

I updated xcode. It had a warning about unsupported version
