ProtonCheck is a ProtonMail module for waybar/polybar/yabar/i3blocks, that shows the current amount of unread emails in your ProtonMail inbox, right on your status bar.

It doesn't do anything Wayland-specific. It outputs the count to stdout. If you include this, there's no reason not to include any other program which outputs to stdout.

Not saying it's not awesome, just that it doesn't fit here in awesome-wayland.
