Update readme to be more useful

Readme edited. Feel free to merge if they look alright. Changes were pretty minor, mostly just adding links. Rephrased a bit in the first section to match with the equivalent text in the apworld repo. Biggest-feeling change was removing the "month-scale" clarification on short-term, since that felt like making a stronger commitment than just "short-term" despite the disclaimer afterwards
