I would like to use library size factors from DESeq2 as the offset parameter to account for library size. Within DESeq2 this value is applied to raw counts via division (raw count / size factor). Is it correct that this value should be inverted before using with RASQUAL as RASQUAL applies the offset as a multiplier?
Hello,
I would like to use library size factors from DESeq2 as the offset parameter to account for library size. Within DESeq2 this value is applied to raw counts via division (raw count / size factor). Is it correct that this value should be inverted before using with RASQUAL as RASQUAL applies the offset as a multiplier?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
