We might be able to package galaxy into the VM and have it come preloaded with wrappers for all the smrt and smrt-utils subcommands. The biggest challenge is dealing with Galaxy's preference for single input file / single output file commands, which we might address using the @Y-Lammers approach by zipping up the output files.
