cannot create wiki object #44

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Run example code given in README with site = 
wiki.Wiki(http://en.wikipedia.org/w/php)
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the expected output in README
I get TypeError: sequence item 0: expected string, int found

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.1.1 wikitools
2.7 python
linux
