python.exe crashes with example files in HeeksCNS 0.17.2 for Windows

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install HeeksCNS 0.17.2
2. Open zigzagpockets.heeks from the examples
http://code.google.com/p/heekscnc/wiki/HeeksExamples
3. Press G0

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
CMD prompt appears as if to run python, then it crashes. Windows states 
"Python.exe has stopped working...". See the attached screenshot.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
HeeksCNC 0.17.2 from here http://code.google.com/p/heekscnc/downloads/list

Using with Windows Vista 32bit

Please provide any additional information below.

This problem is not always repeatable. If I rotate the model around, or look at 
the properties, sometimes it runs fine. It also crashes when doing a waterfall 
feature. Also, the adaptive roughing ability referenced in the wiki is missing

relevant.
