Error: A fatal internal error occurred, see debug.log for details on OSX #97

Hello, Last thing I did was eject the navcoin core disk show on my "devices" section in finder, and I've been getting this fatal internal error message. Anyone know what's up and how I can get NavCoin Core running properly again? If I delete everything and redownload (even if I have the private key, will my coins be safe? Thanks! Warren

SOLVED. Ok I feel like I'm talking to myself here but maybe I can save someone the headache who encounters this same problem. HERE'S HOW YOU DO IT:

  1. Backup your wallet.dat file (DO NOT LOSE, THIS FILE BECAUSE IT STORES YOUR PRIVATE KEY)
  2. Use another computer if you're not comfortable with deleting everything and starting from scratch, otherwise delete the NavCoinCore application
  3. Reinstall NavCoinCore
  4. go to "MACINTOSH HD->Users->(username)->Library->Application Support->NavCoin4"
  5. Replace the Wallet.Dat file with your backed up copy - name it exactly as "Wallet.dat" or you may get an error
  6. Allow for the blockchain to download (could take up to a couple hours)
