Process for adding friends

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Figuring out how to add friends

- tried add friends on the phone.  wants phone # but i dont have phone
number of people in alpha (except for dens)
- wanted to add friends from top scores list (i know some of these people)
but there's no way to do that
- went to the website.  went to add friends.  there was a search box.  put
in dens, figured i'd add dennis, and it came up with all these names.  ok..
 so i clicked SEND for one of them and the search box reloads.  not sure if
they were added?

This is awesome btw

Can you please bring back "add <phone_number>" functionality as in dodgeball? 
This
would make it a lot easier to get everyone plugged back in.

adding friends from twitter requires reloading the "enter your username" page 
each
time. The "needs ajax bad" comment seems to acknowledge this, but you could 
also use
a pop-up or an "add all" or "check people & invite" kind of thing.
