Issue does not repro for me, I'm also on Sprint. This user may want to contact

tech support and ensure the 50500 short code is unblocked on the PMG for the
user's

Actually. It seems that there might be a long lag time. I just checked my
check-ins
and it seems that a second check-in (text to 50500) was logged almost 24 hours
after
I sent it.

Updates are almost immediate for me but SMS issues on Sprint aren't unusual. You
might contact tech support and have them move you to another messaging gateway.
Or
maybe not - Sprint tends to mess up your account any time you let them touch
it. Good
