From my understanding: Database is a software where we can store our data , whatever data we want like list of names of students, data about a school . We can store any kind of data in database and then we can access it later. when we send a message from one phone to another at that time the message is not directly sent to the person it will be first store in database and after that from database there would be a get request and it will send the data to the person.

I learned from here,Database is a collection of data and where we can store any type of data is called database,like student name list and Ng girls name.
