Importing into GIS software gives "invalid stored block lengths" error.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Export file (.kml)
2. Attempt to open file in Manifold 8.0, receive 'invalid stored block lengths' 
and no file imports.

I am attaching a (very simple) sample .kml file (created with GPS Surveyor 
Free) that is able to be imported, in case it helps to compare.

Apologies. 

"Generally a .kml file will" be imported easily into Manifold and into other 
standalone GIS software. I'm attaching an example .kml from another mobile app 
which imports as normal.
