Activate stencil buffer in Windows #2

Tested the window.setGlutDisplayString("rgba double depth alpha samles>=4"); OK in Mac OSX, but does not work in Windows 8. Error when run the program with no compatible pixel format message. Aware of the equivalent command in Windows for activating the stencil buffer?

Sorry but haven't used on windows before. Prob better luck on forum. If you find out please post back here.
