Permissions does not detect some installed applications, such as GO SMS or 
Handcent SMS. They are installed, but not in the list.

I confirm this issue.  Looks there are some applications hidden from this

Can you state some other apps not being detected? I will look into this.

Dolphin Browser™ HD, MX VideoPlayer, Adobe Reader, PowerAMP, ColorNote 
Notepad Notes, Adobe Photoshop Express etc.

Google Maps is also not properly detected.

It does not detect Facebook for me. Running on my evo with sense 2.2

Confirming that Facebook isn't detected for me either, on froyo.

looks like system apps are not detected... (in my case facebook, twitter and 
everything else I move to /system/apps )

plz. keep in mind remounting /system to ro, when job is finished - thx

Please add all system apps? My Phone is full of Chinese stuff...
I like to be able to look for all apps that have permission on 'things that 
cost you money' and then check if I allow or disallow it per application. (off 
course rooted)
The same for example for 'full internet access'

I can confirm Google Maps. The new release added "Record Audio" permissions for 
no justifiable reason. I would like to switch this off. It's a Map application. 
It does not need EVERY permission there is o_O
