Strange iphone issue (1.1.1 --> 1.1.2) #45

What steps will reproduce the problem?
ok. if I may.

Just yesterday i have 1.1.1 unlocked-jailbreaked-SIMFree iPhone. And...

I saw big article about upgrading to 1.1.2 - and working - still unlocked, etc.

I checked every point of attached manual. Download the proper software. And
step-by-step try
to fix it out.

But....

Almost at the end. I need to run Oktoprep - it hangs. I mean the application
and the iPhone.

It just STOP. OK.

So i rebooted the device... And from now on - all it starts....

Now.. when I Restore... (in iTunes) almost every 1.1.1 software that I have (I
have 3 of them -
from different sources...), after iPhone reboot - I got the standard startup
screen where Activate
in iTunes dialog appears. And there is a slide button to switch to Emergency
Call Mode. It
works... but anything else - NO

When I try to dial ANY number, the keyboard is terribly delaying (lag) - i see
what i type after 10-
15 seconds.

At the Main Screen (Welcome Page) I see BIG: Activate iPhone - connect to
iTunes - with little "i"
mark switching to IMEI preview... And beneath is Pop-up Window:

Repair Needed - Iphone cannot make or receive calls. - www.apple.com/support/

And that's all...

ANYBODY... Can someone please help me... Please... I'm wasted... Please have
mercy..

Can I install 1.1.1 and unlock it again...? Because I understand that I have
Modem Firmware
(baseband) 04.02.13_G - after trying to install 1.1.2 ???

Or I have the 04.02.13_G when i'm using 1.1.1 unlocked too....?

Or.. how to change modem firmware version (04.02.13_G) without Wi-Fi
Connection?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Upgrade to 1.1.2 and unlock all features.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Apple iPhone 1.1.1 on Mac OS X Leopard and MS Windows and Vista (3)

It happen when you upload some file via ssh to your iPhone but you did not make
the
right file permission, so that the file can't run properly and the iPhone
become too
slow.

Try to downgrade to 1.0.2 and then see if it report same like repair needed or
not.

Downgrade to 1.0.2 and revirginze the phone. You will have 3.14 firmware. Next
restore the firmware 1.1.2. Next get on to DFU mode 10 Seconds both home and
power
button pressed after that continue to hold home button for 15 seconds. iPhone
screen
is blank and its DFU mode. Next restore 1.0.2. Use wininstaller and activate
jailbreak the iphone . Next install instapp to the iphone. Next WiFi it and
install
BSD and SSH. Next install anySIM 1.1.2U and unlock the 04.02.13. Next
reactivate the
phone using wininsatller, you see the carrier and can make calls, but you are on
1.0.2. Update (not restore) to 1.1.1. Once completed Update (not restore) to
1.1.2.
Once done restore back to 1.1.1. Once done you will be on restore, so to
release out
of this run wininstaller, you may need to run itunes once more. Once done you
will
see activate screen. Jailbreak 1.1.1. Next install BSD system SSH and Okto
Prep. Once
done Update to 1.1.2 (not restore). Next run the Jailbreak 1.1.2 Windows.bat and
follow instructions on screen. iPhone will be need a reboot and later iPhone
will
automatically reboot once more. Now you have a fully unlocked phone.
