What steps will reproduce the problem?
Go to Karl Wirth's "Student Affect in Introductory Geology Courses" 
collaboration request :

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected: To see a graph of this collaboration request connected to other 
interests. 
Instead: Blank screen

You can fix the problem by setting the institution filter, however (to 
anything). The graph will then appear.

On a possibly related note; navigating away to/from Karl Wirth from/to "Reading 
and Social Media (SAIL project)" crashes the site, but both graphs exist.
