Output not valid XHTML when document is XHTML #16

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Any prettyprint

What is the expected output?  What do you see instead?
A xhtml conform output.

What version are you using?  On what browser?
Any.

Please provide any additional information below.
<br> tags should really be formatted as <br /> to be xhtml conform.

Quick fix:
-              .replace(/\r\n?|\n/g, '<br>');
+              .replace(/\r\n?|\n/g, '<br />');
