Yes - I just caught site of another logger, and yes, it seems to have a 
facility where you can add listeners that act as filters and notify you when a 
message matching certain criteria passes through.  And yes, I'm borging the 
functionality.

We've already got the LogHoundMessageFilter, which would work rather nicely.
