Word with accents and external selection with parameters in url

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Create json db with objects; someone have, for example, a "type": 
"Décolleté"
2. Create a exhibit page (i.e. test.html) with a facet in type
3. Open test.html?type=Décolleté

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to open my exhibit page with the facet "type" selected on "Décolleté"

What version of the product are you using? On what browser and what
operating system?
I'm using exhibit 2.2.0 and Firefox in Linux

Please provide any additional information below.
