Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I am insterested in download a specific region of the genome. The web interface allows me to do that. But I want to use the commandline for scripting and downloading. This also avoids downloading and saving large amount of unneccesary data.
Describe the solution you'd like
For example: datasets download virus genome taxon alphainfluenzavirus --segment 5 --filename alphainfluenzavirus_segment5.zip. Even better, I am aware that there are options for dates, hosts, etc, but for future expansion to other metadata fields and simplified commandline options:
datasets download virus genome taxon alphainfluenzavirus --metadata-fields "Segment=Segment 5;Host=Homo sapiens" --filename alphainfluenzavirus_segment5.zip
Thank you
