Epitope align #40

Closed MendesMarcus closed 3 years ago

Hi team,

I have an epitope, and I want to match that sequence in my structure. I am using align -> sequence to align for doing that. But, it requires the chain ID. Is it possible to match the epitope into the entire structure? Because some of those structures are homodimers and homotrimers, it would be interesting to highlight the same epitope in all chains simultaneously.

Many thanks

The feature "File > Align > Sequence to Structure" can only align a sequence to a chain. There is another way to align a sequence to a structure. First click the menu "Analysis > Seq. & Annotations". Then click "Add Track" for each chain. Here is one example: https://structure.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/icn3d/share.html?dZ7LGVbmTF1KtzuQA
