The MD-DC atlas coordinator has written several tools for data review and preparation. Some of them may be useful to NC, so it would be wise to go through the code and grab what is useful. https://github.com/breeding-bird-atlases/data-quality

I created functions for a second generation breeding boxplot, getting all records of any species with one or more breeding codes of interest, and an interactive map of breeding records with hyperlinks to checklist webpages.
