Make the Appliance request process simpler for the user by allowing them to submit the request up front without their Appliance ID key. Once the request is approved, they could get the Appliance ID any time and paste it in to generate their key.
This would probably involve multiple paths of emails depending on which they did first, so it might make a code a bit more unwieldy. But an advantage would be that people who are deciding whether to use the Appliance and want to ask questions (e.g., about licenses) could do it as part of their submission process, and we could see the questions/applications right away.
