There's a small flaw in the logic of this script that causes a failure to detect new additions to the OBO Foundry. The flaw was uncovered when the OBO Foundry deprecated several ontologies that exist in our public mapping of OBO ID spaces to BioPortal acronyms.
We should update the script to detect deprecations, as well as new additions to the OBO Foundry. Deprecated ontologies could be marked with our equivalent status of "retired".
