The Glider Mapping Tool will help the glider pilot see the glider tracks, showing desired corrdinates (waypoints) as well as actual coordinates. It will also support custom overlays. The gmt_data is the component that prepares the data for the user interface component.

Steve will modify Chris Calloway's python code to provide the data that gmt_ui needs. So far, the required changes include the following: -Remove the section of kml with Placemarks having a styleUrl of histPosnIcon. It is not needed and it interferes with gmt_ui -Find the version of code that parses the log, not the email.
