Hi guys, will Drishti be updated to run on apple silicon? Have got a new MacBook Pro M1 Pro (not even the M1 Max) and performance is pretty good running the intel binary... I think it would be pretty damn amazing if Drishti was running native

I want to try building it from source for my M2 Pro.

Unfortunately I don't have easy access to Apple machines. Ajay

@AjayLimaye , Hello! I can try to build it on M2 Pro. Is the source code from this repository enough to build a fully working build? Is there a set of tests or specific steps to check the result? Or is a successful build without errors a sufficient condition?

Hi Nikolai,

Please check the libraries that are required to build on Linux - would be the same for Mac build. You would need to update .pri and .pro files to reflect the include and library paths for Mac build.

There are small sample datasets accessible from the github site (on CloudStor) https://cloudstor.aarnet.edu.au/plus/s/ykqMmmikfXxHxKC?path=%2FTutorials

If you can import and render any of the data you should be fine.

Cheers, Ajay
