Panel/Dock: Latte Dock ---> I have a top panel that floats and then "docks when window is maximized.
Window boarders: disabled
Window Decorations: SierraBreezeEnhanced, configured to disable the title bar when a window is maximized.
Changing the gap size of the bottom of the window doesn't help, and neither does enabling the "gaps on maximized window" option either.
Also I am basically just using this extension as a workaround for a bug in latte that makes it so the tops of maximized windows are covered by your dock.
