This is cited as the biggest user-perceived 'bug' upon gameplay. Perhaps there could be some rounding or smoothing logic layered on top of the physics engine to smooth out player velocity.
@peakpg has indicated he may be able to complete this in the coming week(s).
Closing this as a duplicate of #34.
Jumping over the lips of the platforms still causes a stop in horizontal momentum.
(Related to #34 which was improved, but not resolved IMHO)
