The NRIC error message shows the format, but does not specify the number of digits to include between the 2 alphabets.

Team's Response

Thanks for pointing this out. The ED doctor receives the IC number to enter from the documentation itself, if the doctor were to make a typo, the error message will appear. However it would prompt the ED doctor to check the IC number again to see if he has inputted correctly. Having an error message that says there should be 7 digits (as mentioned in our UG) will not aid the doctor in any better way since they clearly know it is a typo. This would only be useful if the ED doctor was keying in an IC number from memory. On top of that, we agree typo do happens but this message does not significantly impact their performance.

 Issue response

Team chose [response.NotInScope]

Reason for disagreement: " Having an error message that says there should be 7 digits" would definitely help the ED doctor as it specifies exactly what could have caused the typo, instead of the ED doctor figuring it out himself which would take longer and waste their precious time.
