Did not work on Gimp for Windows 2.8 (Stable)

I've installed gimp for windowsinto virtualbox, and it works great on Gimp for windows 2.8.0 Please check you installation, you have an "old plugins support" option during installation that seams to be turned on by default

"old plugins support" checked, Win_7_x64 still no new items in Filters menu, after plugin placed in c:\Users\USER.gimp-2.8\plug-ins\gimpfu_android_xdpi.py and restart Screen

Ok, you downloaded the github page for gimpfu_android_xdpi.py instead of the file itself !

Look at the size from your screenshot : it is 56k, but it should be 4,6k : -rw-rw-r-- 1 nic nic 4,6K déc. 14 15:50 /home/nic/.gimp-2.6/plug-ins/gimpfu_android_xdpi.py

When you want to download the plugin from the github website don't forget to use the "RAW" button on the right !
