Gray bar at bottom of home page? #107

This was generated using Firefox 50.0.2 -- are you able to replicate? image

I am able to replicate in Firefox and IE (but not Chrome), and only when the browser height is fairly small when I first load the page. If the starting browser height is large enough to fit the top menu, DSS Introduction content, and black footer bar in their entirety, I don't get that white bar.

I think this is happening because of a script on the page that tries to make the middle content (in this case, the DSS Introduction area) fill the remaining vertical height so the footer bar appears at the very bottom of the page. In this case, when the page height is so small that the black bar actually overlaps some of the middle content, it calculates the remaining height as being negative, which results in this small white bar.

As long as your browser height is large enough to fit all of the content, this problem shouldn't happen. If you have to have your browser window at a fairly small height, zooming out should also work, although you may need to reload the page to make the white bar go away.

I think it should be a fairly simple fix, so I will flag this as a bug and try to look at it soon.
