At the UF Decision Tools Conference in Dec 2016, Glen Koehler with Univ of Maine Extension suggested a different way of presenting the future climate projection information within the DSS:
1) He was wondering, would a location's current July (or insert another month/season here) maximum temperature shift to be the June (or insert another month/season here) maximum temperature in the future?
2) Related, he suggested adding a "most similar city" feature to the DSS (same concept as on Climate Perspectives, just for the future instead of in the past).
It's fairly easy for me to imagine how these two components could be integrated into a time series graph and/or tabular output that is location-specific but I am struggling to imagine a way to visually present this information spatially in the 3-map layout. At any rate, something to ponder for future work... :smile:
