Change all references of "time slices" to "time periods" #95

The tool menus and MACA FAQ page should be updated to refer to "time slices" as "time periods" since the former may indicate a single point in time rather than a longer range.

For the sake of thoroughness, I updated every instance of the word "slice" to the word "period", even in variable names. After a quick check, everything seems to be working, but let me know if you notice any bugs or errors.
