This repository contains ArcGIS Tools that query soil pedons from the National Soils Information System (NASIS) and compiles a spatial dataset from them.
Create an file geodatabase, SQL Lite and access database from KSSL (Characterization) files. These files are coming from the box link: https://nrcs.box.com/s/7opixa1aptke6a21n3yn2nu6oea5t7tq
Note in the future it will need to come from Soil Data Access and streamed in. Then we would need to figure out a way to automate the Web map.
Figure out which tables and fields to index
Create a NASIS (morphological) file geodatabase from peiid list. The peiid list will come from the combine_nasis_ncss.txt from the files above. Might have to write a script to create a CSV file.
Jason will work getting the tables automated in Soil Data Access.
