clean tracks in import, before the data gets to the caltopo checkbox list

RTFM: some of the gpsbabel data filters may be helpful. Working on #1 (gpxtrkx) showed proof of concept for modifying the file in place. Also it should be easy enough to filter to a different temp file before gpsbabel.

With the use of the sartopo_bg background tools, especially the debrief map generator, this issue is lower priority. Trimming on import would require external data inputs, like knowledge of the actual search area boundary. It may not be practical to feed that external data into the extension.
