2021 Deferred Harvest Methodology Section: Appendix A

Comment: The IPCC Guidelines shall also be followed in terms of quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) and uncertainty analysis, however the guidelines are not applied in the establishment of model parameters for the carbon-atrisk model or the quantification of uncertainty in in the carbonat-risk model.

NCX response: We agree that accounting for uncertainty is very important in any forest carbon project. Our revised methodology accounts for and requires a deduction associated with the uncertainty of carbon stocks in the project and baseline scenarios.
