Adding COPC to Potree #2

There is a TypeScript library copc. Adding this library to Potree is discussed in Add COPC Support and the way to do this is somehow explained in this comment. This issue is also discussed in the future plan of Potree Potree 2.0 considerations and some technical considerations are discussed in this comment. Also, see some discussions on COPC implementations, here. However, as you see, these issues are about two years old! I couldn't find any new discussions on this topic.
