[x] add units/measure to configuration and visualizations Heatmap
[x] add annotation columns/rows for heatmap (curated list)
[ ] toggle heatmap orientation? columns=omics vs columns=samples ?
[x] clean up "scaling" (remove zeros, log, zscore) Volcano plots
[x] accurate axis scaling and units
[ ] performant volcanos... sample?
[ ] colorcode "target_omics"

second tier

[ ] differential expression dotplot
[ ] cellxgene (proof of concept)
