Controller Name

Nacon Revolution Unlimited Pro

Current Controller Behaviour

Controller is not successful in pairing with the console

Controller vendor and product ID

No response

Supported Features

Input Report Format

No response

Additional Details

A Playstation-licensed, third party, DualShock 4 style controller

Connects via wired connection and mimics a wired DS4, or via bluetooth only when Nacon-branded wireless dongle is used in USB port of PS4. Is not detectable/pairable using Bluetooth search on any phone/computer/console without dongle.

Have tried wired connection and wireless (using USB dongle in Switch dock) and neither work. Controller acts as though it is only being charged by a passive USB charger (yellow status bar pulses, same as DS4 charge behaviour). Interestingly, dongle does not light up when plugged into USB port of switch dock, but it does light up when plugged into PS4 or MacBook.

Controllers requiring dongles are effectively USB controllers as far as the Switch is concerned. The fact that a dongle is required in the first place implies it's probably not even Bluetooth, but some other wireless protocol. Mission Control only supports Bluetooth connections for the time being. In the future when USB support is available, it is probably possible to add support for this controller connected via the dongle.

I maintain a fork of sys-con that support all USB controllers, thus this controller should be supported (In USB mode) https://github.com/o0Zz/sys-con
