If the controller isn't pairing, there's a good chance its's a Bluetooth LE controller (which isn't supported just yet). There's at least one other ATGames controller that was found to use this. Are you able to connect it to a Windows PC? You can find the device in Device Manager where you should be able to check its properties. LE devices will be labelled as such in there somewhere.

If it doesn't look like a BLE controller, then something is likely failing during the pairing process. You can install this build to make a log of what's happening for me to take a look at. It will be saved to sdmc:/mc-mitm.log

It's a BLE sadly. What's the next from here?

You'll have to wait until I've got LE support working, and then I'll revisit this issue.
