The controller works with 2.4ghz dongle and cable, idk if can work with 2.4 but id love to at least with cable

You can't use 2.4G controllers directly with the console and USB controllers aren't officially supported by mission control yet. However, if you join my discord server I have test builds available that support USB that you can try out and help me make it work.
