Mac Version: Pressing "Edit Mesh" Does Work - But No Outline is Visible for Original Sprite Object #68

When watching the DevLogs for this absolutely wonderful addon - I noticed how effortlessly you can delete the original rectangular mesh after producing the new Sprite Mesh (because, for you - on Windows - it is visible).

In the Mac Version, you cannot see the Original Sprite outline and you cannot select anything while in "Point Mode". The workaround is to enter "Face Mode" - click in empty space (the one Face then highlights) - and press "X" to delete it.

May I also suggest that your fantastic addon is much more than just a tool for Cutout Animation - (the name, "COA Tools" misled me). Really, it is a complete 2D Character Animation Suite which includes:

1) Cutout Animation Methods 2) Character Deformation Methods (other than just with Bones) 3) Rubber Hose Deformation Methods 4) Partial Body, Head and Appendage Rotational Methods 5) 2.5D Animation System

At first, I wouldn't even look at the addon because I had no idea it facilitated anything other than CutOut style animation methods. For me, it replaces Moho 12 (Anime Studio Pro) and streamlines my entire workflow at the most ideal price point. (I hope you will charge for this when finished).

I also hope you will allow me to demonstrate all of these Methods on my YouTube Channel:

Thanks so much for your attention to detail and understanding an animator's needs.

Thanks, even more, for translating that attention and understanding into the best tool for the job,

Greg Smith

Hi @PsmithG I am a mac user too, and while using this amazing add on the same problem you describe happens to me (when using the edit mesh tool and triangulating the sprite to be deform, I could not edit the base mesh as a result when deforming the sprite would look odd because there are 2 sprites instead of 1) I found the solution in a forum of blender artist. To fix this problem you need to go to modifier and ensure the (eye) on the mask modifier is on, it worked to me :)
