Greetings,
I tried to assemble plant mitochondria genome with short reads PE Ilumina raw-reads. I read from previous posts that it is hard to get a complete genome with only using short-reads data. But my NOVOPlasty output showed circularized genome. Since there are yet to be published mito-genome for this genus, I used other genus' COI gene as seed from genbank. I am not sure either the result is due to pre-mature circularization or the genome is actually complete. I would appreciate if you can provide your opinion. Attached are the log file and circularized assembly file. Thank you.
